7th NTO General Assembly (day 2)
Day 2: Monday, 17 February 2025, 08:00-12:00 (Panama Time) – Hybrid at CIAT Headquarters, Panama City
The 7th General Assembly of the Network of Tax Organisations (NTO) will take place over two days. Day 1 will be held virtually on Wednesday, 22 January 2025, from 14:30 to 17:30 CET via MS Teams. Day 2 will be a hybrid event, taking place on Monday, 17 February 2025, from 08:00 to 12:00 Panama Time at the CIAT Headquarters in Panama City.
The event will bring together key stakeholders to the global network to review and plan for the NTO’s future activities and governance. The event will focus on key agenda items such as the monitoring of the NTO workplan for 2024/2025, the outlook for the 3rd NTO Technical Conference, and the draft implementation plan for 2025-2028. The event will also include the election of the new Head of NTO Council for 2025-2027, as well as updates and contributions from NTO members.
Day 1: 22 January 2025 (Virtual, 14:30-17:30 CET)
Key objectives:
- Endorsement of the NTO Strategy 2025-2028 & key strategic decisions on the Future of the NTO (governance, finances, contributions, etc.)
- Overview of NTO workplan 2025 (previously validated by NTO members)
- Overview on NTO Calendar of events for 2025
- Considerations on implementing 2025 workplan, considering the closure of the GFG project
- Brief overview on the status of the preparation of the 3rd NTO Technical Conference
Day 2: 17 February 2025 (Hybrid, 8:00-12:00 Panama Time)
Key objectives:
- Monitoring of the NTO workplan for 2024/2025
- Preview of the 3rd NTO Technical Conference
- Discussion of the draft implementation plan for 2025-2028
- Election of the new NTO Head of Council for 2025-2027
- NTO members’ updates and contributions
