Principles

Five principles guide the work of the Network of Tax Organisations:

• Complementarity: Collaboration aims to complement existing activities and cooperation agreements. The Network of Tax Organisations will avoid duplication of efforts and work towards creating synergies with its stakeholders instead.
• Equality: Participation in the Network of Tax Organisations is founded on the equal standing of all members.
• Transparency: The governance and activities of the Network of Tax Organisations are communicated openly and clearly, both internally and externally.
• Voluntarism: Members retain full independence and autonomy. Their participation in the Network of Tax Organisations and its activities is entirely voluntary.
• Inclusiveness: The cooperation within the NTO is based on the values diversity, respect of human rights, gender equality, environmental sustainability, and inclusiveness.
