The conference will be hosted by the Italian Guardia di Finanza and organised in collaboration with NTO member organisations and the Secretariat of the NTO. The Secretariat of the NTO is facilitated by the International Tax Compact (ITC) and funded by the German Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development.
Under the theme of “Building stronger partnerships to fight tax crime” the 1st NTO Technical Conference will bring together policymakers and practitioners from over 170 revenue administrations to discuss challenges, strategies and solutions of widening collaborations to tackle tax crime.
The 1st NTO Technical Conference will offer a unique opportunity to explore the prominent role that regional and international tax organisations play in reinforcing international, South-South and inter-institutional cooperation between revenue administrations and other bodies in combating tax offenses. With this, the conference will build upon the relevant expertise of NTO members and aims to accelerate the work on fighting tax crimes on a global level.
