UN ECOSOC's Financing for Development Forum

The 2024 Financing for Development Forum will take place at a critical time, as we embark in the path towards the 4th International Conference on Financing for Development.

The ECOSOC Forum on Financing for Development follow-up (FfD Forum) is an intergovernmental process with universal participation mandated to review the Addis Ababa Action Agenda (Addis Agenda) and other financing for development outcomes and the means of implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The event brings together heads of state and government, ministers and high-level government officials as well as senior officials of international organizations. Civil society organizations, the business sector and local authorities will also be represented.

In the margins of the 2024 ECOSOC's FfD Forum, the ATI side event "International Tax Cooperation at a Crossroads: Supporting Inclusive and Effective Participation of Developing Countries in a Rapidly Changing International Tax Cooperation Landscape" will take place on 23 April 08:15-09:30 (EDT). The ATI side event is organised by the Addis Tax Initiative in collaboration with Norad, the Permanent Mission of Norway to the UN, and the Permanent Mission of Zambia to the UN.
